Sundar Pichai CEO of Google is currently on a family vacation in Jaipur, Rajasthan. However, it is said that he will also have an event on the agenda as he is scheduled to speak in New Delhi on the 4th of January.
An event for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in New Delhi on January 4. The event will be attended by Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad as well as senior Google officials.
Sundar Pichai will talk about small business and new start-ups in India, perhaps keeping in line with the Indian Government’s ‘Make in India’ plan. Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad, will also be present during the event as per the invite.
“Small and Medium Businesses are the backbone of the Indian economy and are powering the next wave of the country’s growth. At Google, we are excited about partnering with businesses to help them unlock exponential growth through the power of digital,” Google said in its invite.
Google has partnered with the government of India for multiple projects including high-speed WiFi for railway stations across the country. Although this has only been seen on a handful of stations across the country, we can see more locations being added to the map fairly soon.
We don’t know more details about the upcoming event as yet. However, we will update you as it develops.
